ABOUT

Nino Rodriguez, known as the graffiti artist, “Tsel1” or “Tsel One” (tselone). He started painting Chicago graffiti art in 1984, at age 11 after he discovered the book, Subway Art. His art experience ranges in multi-directions and he teaches/lectures art in classrooms across Chicagoland and the great states of South Dakota and Missouri.

Tsel1’s art has been featured in print and other media publications and having won 2 grant awards (2016, 2017) from the Chicago Department of Cultural and Special Events program where the funds were allocated to paint public murals. His art has also been featured at the Chicago Cultural Center, Michigan Avenue Public Arts projects, and other various art galleries.
